Refund Policy
Last updated: March 14, 2026
Cythr is a free cycle-tracking app. All core features are available at no cost. Paid purchases are voluntary and support ongoing development. This policy explains how refunds work for each type of purchase.
1. Subscriptions (Monthly & Annual)
Cythr Supporter subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests for subscriptions must be handled directly by the respective store:
- Apple App Store: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play Store: Request a refund through Google Play Help
Cythr does not process subscription payments directly and cannot issue refunds for in-app purchases. Apple and Google handle all billing and refund decisions.
2. One-time Tips & Donations
Via App Store / Google Play
Tips purchased through the app are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests should be submitted through the respective store (see links above).
Via Web (Paddle)
Web donations processed through Paddle may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund:
- Email support@cythr.com with your order number
- Or contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
3. Supporter Status After Refund
If a refund is granted for a subscription or tip, your Supporter status and associated perks (enhanced AI, increased message limits) will be revoked at the end of the current billing period or immediately, depending on the store's refund policy.
4. Free Tier
All core features of Cythr are free. If you are unsatisfied with the Supporter perks, you can cancel your subscription at any time and continue using Cythr at no cost.
